With PM Narendra Modi taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time, the government started taking decisions in the interest of farmers. Now the government has given good news for the farmers of Chhattisgarh. Today, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan discussed agricultural development in Chhattisgarh. He discussed the promotion of pulses, oilseeds, horticulture, Kisan Samman Nidhi and other schemes. The central government will solve the problems of the farmers of Chhattisgarh and provide support for development.
With the aim of rapid progress of the agriculture sector in the country, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has initiated state-wise discussions. Under which, the Union Minister held a meeting with a high-level delegation including Chhattisgarh Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi today.
During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics related to agriculture and farmer welfare along with promotion of pulses, oilseeds, horticulture etc. in Chhattisgarh. During this, Union Minister Chauhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi Under the leadership of ji, the interest of farmers and agriculture sector is of utmost importance for us and under this, the central government will continue to provide everything possible to Chhattisgarh.

Several plans were discussed
Union Minister Chouhan discussed with Chhattisgarh minister Netam the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, National Agricultural Development Scheme, pulses, oilseeds, horticulture, Namo Drone Didi, Oil Palm Mission and other schemes and programs of the Government of India.
Promotion of corn and soybean
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh will not be allowed to face any problem at the central level, for this the central and state governments will continue to work together. He said that the Central Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department will provide full support at its level for the development of Chhattisgarh. The minister also mentioned the central government’s policy of promoting pulses and oilseeds. The Agriculture Minister said that there are ample opportunities to promote maize and soybean in Chhattisgarh. He said that there will be adequate availability of inputs like fertilizers, seeds etc. in the Kharif season.
